Its single flap is made from 30mm insulated double glass, providing excellent thermal insulation while allowing ample natural light to enter. Delta System & Photovoltaics: Certification
Today, we bring an interesting case from our daily work on smoke ventilation projects. We were challenged to analyze the performance of a Delta system on a roof that, in addition to the smoke ventilation equipment, will also host several solar panels. At first glance, it might seem simple. Normally, adjacent elements do not interfere with the Delta system. But in this scenario, the solar panels act as true โwind ramps,โ altering the ventilation dynamics and impacting the smoke ventilation coefficient (Aa). We conducted a detailed analysis based on the configuration proposed by the client and quickly realized that the presence of the solar panels reduced the Aa, which could compromise the systemโs effectiveness. The solution involved studying different configurations and identifying the ideal height for the wind deflector to compensate for this influence and ensure the required performance. An essential point: this solution was duly certified under EN 12101-2:2003, guaranteeing full technical compliance and all necessary safety requirements. This project is yet another example showing how every detail matters. Adapting technical solutions to the reality of each installation, with proven certification, is what ensures safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

DELTA 37 dB
Our TRIA DELTA double flap smoke vent has been tested and certified for acoustic performance of up 37 dB. This is particularly important for projects that require high acoustic insulation to avoid external acoustic influences in places such as auditoriums, museums and administrative offices, as well as to minimize external noise from production environments and industries. With its core features of fire safety, natural ventilation, and daylight, the new acoustic performance of DELTA makes it a valuable addition to any project. The DELTA system is certified in accordance with EN 12101-2 for NSHEV and the ATEX Product Certification Directive 2014/34/EU.
Senior residential building Vijverhof, Netherlands
An upgrade for senior residential building Vijverhof, Ermelo Netherlands. The leaking and partly non-functioning vents were taken out and replaced with TRIA VENTRA louvered vents for fire-safety and daily ventilation, which is very welcome with the current summer conditions.
